The Village of South Pekin Police Department is currently seeking applicants for the position of a Full- Time Officer and Part-Time Police Officers. Currently we are only seeking part-time or full- time Illinois certified Law enforcement officers.

Once a resume is received, applicants will be contacted on a first come, first serve basis depending on qualifications. Applicants must:
Have a High school diploma or GED
Be certified in the State of Illinois as a part-time or full-time law enforcement officer
Be of sound moral character
Be able to pass a thorough background investigation
Be able to pass a physical and drug screen
Have no Prior felony arrests or convictions
Be able to complete a field training program
Be able to work at a Minimum two weekends per month to start
